asc TimeTables locale fonts problem
At last, I finally found the solution to the problem with (and not only) Greek fonts inside asc Timetables running on wine. Every time I happened to open a file containing Greek fonts, the names, classes, subjects… they all appeared as gibberish. The simple, but on the other hand difficult to find, command to solve it is
LC_ALL="el_GR" wine .wine/drive_c/TimeTables/roz.exe
where the .wine/drive_c/TimeTables/roz.exe is the executable file of TimeTables. Don’t forget to set the language inside the application to Greek!
Και επειδή πολλοί συνάδερφοι δεν γνωρίζουν Αγγλικά και λειτουργούν Ubuntu…
Αγαπητοί συνάδερφοι, ΝΑΙ υπάρχει τρόπος να τρέχετε το αγαπημένο, γεμάτο δυνατότητες πρόγραμμα (παρόλο που δεν ξέρετε την τύφλα σας για το πώς να το χρησιμοποιείτε) να τρέχει σε Linux ΚΑΙ να δείχνει και Ελληνικά. Απλά ανοίξτε ένα terminal ( ctrl-alt-t )
LC_ALL="el_GR" wine .wine/drive_c/TimeTables/roz.exeoz.exe
Στην εφαρμογή μην ξεχάσετε να δηλώσετε Ελληνικά.
